Aloha! from OHIO

ALOHA!! To all the wonderful women of this forum. My name is Nona. I actaully have been meaning to join this forum for quite a while now but the evil myspace addiction has kept me from it.

Anyway. here Iam. My husbands name is Howard (Hes Bubba46) He works for Comair Airlines we kinve in Erlanger Kentucky. and we have been married 6 years we have 2 children Brendan who is 5 and Zach who is 14 months and one on the way Im 9 weeks right now. ....Its going to take me a while to figure out how to manuver well in this forum so it may take me awhile to figure it all out. I have thousands of intrests.I get bored otherwise. Im always into something new. I LOve history especially anything within the civil war, ww2 or the american revolution. Iam a feminist.very about womens rights....I like to know whats going on in our world everything from politics to whats going on in space. I am very intrested in forensics (The Lizzie Borden case especially)..I also scrapbook, read, am artistic and fun and silly but a very tired woman.my kids though I love them wear me out. Yeah Im very tired. It always occures to me I don't have enough women friends every time I see that show "sex in the city" and I say oh that looks like fun having girl talk all day....

so here Iam to join in the girl talk. And by the way, I just want to say I have a very strong sense of "self" I think it always bothers me that so many woman only think of themselves as so and sos wife or so and sos mom...not me.even though iam everything from wife, mother.sister and daughter.none of those things are what tagged by. My name is NONA. I was born Nona I will die Nona. So, though very dedicated to my family they are not all that iam. So with that....let the games begin.

Nona and I go way back...like what 3 years when we finally met at a JC meet and greet in florida? she's the sweetest girl i know (besides a lot of you other girls), always thinking of others before herself....she'll get along here just...fine... hahaha

How are you feeling? you should put a pg "ticker" in your sig, so we can count down the days!! are you and howard gonna keep baby #3's gender a secret or plan for it?

Welcome! I'm a history geek too--always reading and studying because I believe that those who ignore history are destined to repeat it, news junky and a feminist. I just don't have all the children you do--just one and he's nearly 24! I work in HR for company that treats women with eating disorders. Oh,and DH flies an airplane.

Yes, Iam here and happy to be here I kick myself for not coming sooner like I said myspace had an evil hold....but really those are people I already know and none of them know whats up in the flying world. Iam happy to join in and give my love, encouragement, strength and laughter to other women just like me

Iam so glad that you have started this site.I must admit when i read the other (the men one) they always talk mumbo jumbo in abriviated terms don't understand

I love history now.I did'nt used to.my husband got me hooked..we traveled to see Thomas Jeffersons home in Virginia and from then out I was HOOKED! I even started collecting antiques....

Hi Nona! Welcome to the site! I just moved from Erlanger (Elsmere actually) to Jacksonville, FL so dh could go to ATP. Once he is done we plan on moving back to NKY since we have a house there (that REFUSES to sell) and Dh is hoping to get a job with Comair. He worked there for about 2 years (baggage handler and then in the tower) and he really hopes to come back.

We don't have any kids, just 4 cats. I currently work at ADT customer service. I am enjoying the beach and the heat here, but I really miss NKY, much more than I thought I would. It helps that my family is north of Cincinnati, and dh's family is in Louisville.

YEAHHHHH - finally another Comairian.
I live in Hebron!!!!
My DH is a sim/checkairman with Comair! I was a FA with them many years and lbs ago!!! How long has your DH been there? I left in 1999 when I was preggers with our son. Now I'm a SAHM with son, 8 and daughter 4. I'm not so good with history (DH is originally from Rhode Island just outside of Lizzy Borden's house) and I am learning to scrapbook.
I would love to meet and talk with you.

Did we meet last year at Macayos in Tempe? I met soembody from Jetcareers and his wife but I can't remember!

I just moved back to the PHL suburbs and I'm still getting used to things.

your doing just fine Nona! takes practice...you'll get the hang of it!

best way to send a PM is to go to the first link on the menu above called UserCP, that'll take you to your own personal control panel..and then down the menu under the private messages section in the UserCP is a menu called "send new message", put in a username and a subject title.. then write your mesage and that's all there is to it!

Cassie here in CLT, originally from NM, met my BF in NM while he was attending the PACE program at San Juan Community College, so far he's finished with everything, interviewed with some regionals, and decided to take a different route...right now he flies for one of his private pilot, who runs real estate in the Carolinas...so far, so good...

I'm finishing my Microbiology degree at UNCC and should be done in Dec!! Together we live here in CLT, and are raising a rambunkous (sp?) maltese, Kenizie (that i admit, am obsessed with)
