| Hi everyone, my name is Diana I finally decided to register for the forums. My husband is a pilot for a cargo company called Airnet Express and we just moved to Columbus, OH from Pennsylvania. I am kinda scared because this is our first move and I am unfamiliar with the area, on top of that my husband had to leave for a week to Richmond, VA to cover a run. Atleast he showed me how to get to the grocery store before he left, but you know how DH explains how to get to places especially if he is a pilot / . Anyways, I am glad that there is a forum for pilot wives to communicate. |

| Admin/Owner ![]() | I thought we also had one other lady on here whose hubby used to be with airnet? maybe i'm thinking of someone else.. dunno. I do know we hve another lady on board who lives in Pennsylvania as well, so maybe that'll help, maybe not depending on what area you live in. Welcome Diana!! What town in Penn are you in? You hadn't visited the place with DH before moving? that would drive me insane (not knowing where things are etc). Did you move up there for his job then? |

| Well we just moved to Columbus, OH I am originally from Carlisle, Pa. Carlisle is a small town close to Harrisburg, PA. No, he never brought me out to show me around Ohio / He should have, but he was always away for training. That is my other problem, I do not have a job out here yet, I am looking on the internet, but it is hard because I am not too sure where anything is at at the moment. Also, I did put in a couple of resumes before I left Pennyslvania to transfer to another doctors office within my company, but I have yet to hear back.Airnet is a pretty good company they take good care of their pilots, which is a good thing!! Thank you for the welcome girls ![]() |

| Jetgirls Plus Member ![]() | Hi all of the new folks! I'm Amanda in Scottsdale AZ. My boyfriend of almost 4 years is Nick and he is a Cpt on the ERJ flying out of IAD for Mesa. We're doing the long distance thing right now and it's no fun! We both cannot wait until he can throw his app in to a bigger and better airline. When? Who knows, it's aviation industry! We are both from the PHL area and met on an airplane in 2002. I work in finance but if you read my other posts you'll know I am looking for a new job and/or career! I keep myself busy here with my kickboxing and golf. Welcome! Amanda |
