So doug calls me up while he's in SLC.. as he's getting off the airplane or walking through the terminal, a guy comes up to him (really nice guy, so doug says) and says something to the affect of "OMG, your the guy whose wife has that website... my wife can't thank her enough for putting that up, she reads it everyday"... come to find out, doug says they are both lurkers on here and on jetcareers...

honestly ladies, we don't bite and we could use your insight too..everyone has different viewpoints, different problems and different circumstances - we could all benefit from your wisdom, opinions, suggestions and ideas!

she is definately far more adventurous than me!!

Although, I think Lurker could definately make a run for the money tho... i wonder, if i were to stir up more drama, i could really get those two telling us their "secrets"

Ok, I finally decided to come out of hiding. I've been lurking here for about a month. My name is Kelly and my BF is going to school to be a pilot. (That sounds really funny to say since I'm 35, divorced, with 2 kids)... "BF", "school"... what did I get myself into??? hahahaha He IS my age, just getting started a little late. When he mentioned to me that he was worried about me being able to "cope" with the pilot lifestyle I found this board. You all have given me a TON of insight and knowledge and I really appreciate it. We are already dealing with the stresses of being apart... he works full time, goes to school full time, and has a child. I haven't seem him in 3 weeks and I have no idea when I'll see him again. Its definitely tough, especially for a relatively new relationship. But he's worth it. All pilots must be the same... his passion for flying... it just amazes me. So, anyway, I look forward to chatting with you all.
