Schools Out!

I have my whole summer to myself now! Well, not officially. The teachers have to go in tomorrow for 3.5 hours (we had a flood day in May, and the decided the kids don't have to make it up, but we do so we can get paid...).

So now my only job is to leave for the lake tomorrow so I can work on my tan and read all summer. I was going to go to Canada with DH tonight...but of course the flights are all booked. Of course if it was yesterday or tomorrow the flights had tons of open seats! It always works that way doesn't it!

At least DH has vacation in July and August. He has 1 week in July, which turned into 21 days off and we are hoping August will be just as good- cross your fingers for us!

I won't have internet access for a little bit after tomorrow. DH's parents have a house on the lake 2 houses down and we "steal" their wireless signal. But they don't have it activated for the summer yet and we don't have a land line. I'm going to be so "lost" without the Internet
