Well, hi there. I guess I was missing for a while, but I seem to have found myself lol. Just thought I'd pop in with a little update. Another 6+ months gone by and I still feel like dh is not getting any where very fast. He should be doing his CFI around the first of May though, so maybe it's a light at the end of the tunnel. I am just trying to take care of kids and the household stuff. Not much exciting to report. I hope you are all doing well and nice and happy and healthy. I'll try to catch up on some old posts later. Feel free to fill me in on anything new and exciting for you guys!!

HI! man, i totally just missed you! I JUST (like last night) got back to michigan after spending the winter out in Park City! I didn't know how to contact you since you never came around anymore so i figured you weren't checking pm's. anyway - I had a great ski season out ther, i was teaching at deer valley. I'm going to be in Italy for 6 months and then I'll be back in Utah again next winter! Hopefully I can meet up with you then!!

I'm leaving on the 30th. I'll be coming home on the 25th of October (asssuming all goes well) Right now I'm trying to get a job teaching english at a summer camp for italian kids (www.acle.org)

Oh sorry Emily! I thought you were moving out here for good, not just the winter. I don't know what happened to me--just got overwhelmed after we moved, and trying to figure out how to get Corbin done, and I was feeling like some of the boards I went to had a lot of arguing and negativity and I need to get to a place where I felt more under control and peaceful. I didn't really plan on "leaving" all the boards, but it sort of ended up that way for a while, and then I just got caught up in life and never got back to it. Been then Corbin started lurking on JC again and started bugging me to post again. I am just going to stick to here and to an LDS board though, cause I can count on it being pretty civil and supportive and not all boards are like that. I'll get some pictures of the kids loaded and update you more later!

I'm really glad to see Corbin posting on his own over at JC... everyone over there knows Corbin thru you, but they don't know Corbin himself...now if only you two could get to Network JC this year - I know A LOT of folks that want to buy you two some cokes!!

btw, have you both seen the meet & greets they've been having up in SLC lately? we're getting pretty close to getting up there ourselves to attend them! has Corbin thought about meeting up at any of them or had he already?

Corbin would have gone to the last one if he hadn't been working. He flies (or studies or does ground stuff) all morning and then works from 3-11:30 S-Th so he was at work that Wed. We have met a few people, we had that big group at our cabin 2 years ago, and then we met Jim after that in SL. There's no way we could even begin to consider the Las Vegas trip. The gas alone we couldn't do, not even beginning to mention the hotels and the loss of income. We just bought a townhouse that will be the same we were paying in rent, and Corbin is starting a second job in 2 weeks, so he'll soon be adding a 12 hour shift Fri-Sun to what he's already working. Once he gets done with his CFI testing (his oral is this Thurs!) and can get hired at UVSC, and get enough students, then he can cut back his hours at his first job. But for the next year probably I will be being a single mom and he will be working his behind off! So for now I guess we'll have to do with just being online! Unless anyone ever wants to come to Utah County to meet him.
