USERCP/Group Memberships...

Use the above menu direction to find and join your location usergroup. At this time, there is no cost to join the groups. You should only join the group where you live, not where your pilot is based.

I've only added groups where I know more than one person lives.

If there's a location group you want to add, start a thread with the primary airport code as the subject title to see if there are others that can help support the group, if created. Once created, I will add a post to the thread stating it's been opened and then will close the thread.

Ok I'm blind or brain dead. I joined the SLC usergroup in my CP, but now what? I'm not seeing what to do next? Is there a special forum for the groups, or what?

the forum would be under this forum....yes, it's a "special" forum where it's just you and the other SLC peeps...altho i could allow everyone to view it i suppose. i dunno, i haven't thought that far today (other things on the brain).

technically, what you should see is a sub-forum called SLC: Salt Lake City Utah Area right underneath this (by location) forum.

OK, that explains why I can't figure out what tabs ect. you were talking about. I thought I was missing something for the longest time, I couldn't find any tabs. As far as I know, there is no one else in Jax, so there's no subforum.

Kristie, I vote for open forums. That way if I'm taking a trip to say... Salt Lake City... I can post about it in their forum instead of trying to figure out who's there and asking them to do it.

ok, we'll see how it goes and/or how messy it starts getting. if it start getting to messy subforum wise, then i'll probably modify it some to it's own category to keep it nicely organized.
