Carpet Dyeing

Have any of you heard of it?

Eric and I are in the middle of some major renos around here and the carpet upstairs is one of them. We had our carpet replaced downstairs but the one upstairs was going to cost us WAY TOO MUCH money! Our hallway is open and in an odd shape where we would have to buy a whole lot of carpet to just use a fraction of it. I've tried cleaning it with a steamer but it really didn't work. The carpet is in great shape, other than it's spills and a few stains. So... After remembering my mom and dad coloring their carpet i thought i would look into it. The cost is a whole lot cheaper than replacing it and I can do any imagineable color!
