Kitchen Cabinets

Home depot is doing this free consultation for refacing kitchen cabinetry... figured i'd take the consultation since we want to redo our kitchen anyways...

with that, is there anything in *your* kitchen...that you could not live without that i should check out? my kitchens pretty basic.. we have tile countertops (which we do plan on changing) and i know i'd like to get the corners redone so they're more functional..but other than that, i don't have too many other ideas for what looks good and/or what's very functional and makes working in the kitchen easier.

Appreciate the ideas!!
