um...lets see on day he thought he'd pull the countertops off, because "i'm going to redo them anyways"...MIND YOU, that was back in JUNE!!! YEAH, 5 months AGO!!!!! and I'd like to announce, that he JUST FINISHED THEM LAST NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Same with the floor...ripped the floor off, because "we can get in done over othe weekend"...umm, let's just say, up until late august, we've had to walk with thick soles because the floor wasn't done, and we could risk walking on nails...my BF is the KING of "oh, let me see what this does.." and not finishing it until a long time later...seriously, if I didn't mention "oh, I wish I have countertops.." every freakin day, I bet money they'd still be naked!!!

When doug hears the tone in my voice go up, he knows there's something wrong....so his way of fixing it is to fix it...he can't just listen to me, he has to be able to fix something...he always says "don't bitch about it, just fix it"

so now, because of year and years worth of "stop trying to fix it and just listen to me" pressure has gone down the crapper, at some point, i decided to stop trying and go the opposite direction and somewhere down the line, turned into doug...now, i talk to myself and say "well shit, don't just stand there complaining, fix what's needs to be fixed"...so now, i don't complain anymore.. if i see or have a problem and need to vent, i'll skip the vent and just fix the damn problem.

sad.. but true....i'm slowly turning into a man...i'm turning into my husband and he's a man...

and he wonders why i sound more like him everyday....if he would only "let me" be a girl...

I have a bathroom vanity sitting in front of my fireplace since JUNE! Either he gets a'crackin or no room for Santa to slide down the chimney and put his prezie under the tree!! Maybe they're related???
