I cant keep BILL from putting photos out. He has put out almost all of them, not me. Actually, I think he is solely respsonsible for the wedding ones that are hanging on the wall. It makes me feel weird sometimes, kinda like how madlibs hubby feels,, dont get me wrong,,I love the pictures,, I just dont think everyone else would love them as much as we do, so I tend to try and tone it down more than Bill does haha!!!!

I think it alright to have a few pictures of yourself, espically wedding pictures! Now if you go the whole Paris Hilton route that's a little over the top!

We have a couple of pictures up of just SO and I. He is the one that actually did it. I agree that a couple are fine.

That sounds so odd to me. It seems backward. I would find it odd to go into someone's house and find out the only pictures of themselves were in private places where only they would see them. I'd be thinking... you really like looking at yourself don't you? LOL! I put pics of us our in common areas for my GUESTS to view. It gives them a closer glimpse of our lives. Pics from vacations, wedding pics, etc.

I love going to other people's houses and looking at the photos they put out. It usually sparks alot of conversations!

The only personal pics in our bedroom are pics of our daughter cause, well, she's just too darn cute! LOL!

My boyfriend put up two high school pictures up of me above his desk. He did it because he thinks its funny. He also has another one of me from when we first met.

I don't really put up photos at home except of pets/weird stuff. Like at work, I don't have any pictures up at all. Its just because my work area is a little too public for comfort.. if that makes sense to anyone. I like to keep my personal life and work life seperate if at all possible.

I have a lot of family pictures up, but not as many as I'd like. Good thing is, there's time and room to grow. W/ fiance' and I getting married next year that'll be more pictures. And w/ kids after that ... even more pictures. As it is there are small framed pictures of us and of his nephews and of all of my nieces and nephews.

To me, home is where the heart is. Display as many personal family pictures as you desire.

On a side note, my mom has what she calls the "dead wall." She loves antique things that she inherits from generations before her. So she's inherited pictures of the family all the way back to the Civil War era when photographs were in their infancy. So she has probably 50 framed photographs of ancestors hanging on a wall in the family room. It may sound a bit weird, but it really does look wonderful and is a great conversation piece.
