Default Working out....

Oh, I started thinking about this after I read the workout machine thread. How many of you, especially interested in the ones of you with kids, work out at home, and how many of you work-out at a gym?

Buying my elliptical has actually paid off a gym membership already! I'd use it just as much as i use a gym...which at the moment, isn't all that often

I work out better and more often at home. It's a twenty minute drive to the gym, one way, so I would usually talk myself out of going.

I voted for both. But the gym I use is not the traditional cardio/weights gym. I'm a rock climber so that's my kind of gym. And when I'm not in the rock gym, I'm on my bike, outside. And if I'm not biking, I'm hiking outside. And for days when I don't have time for any of that, I at least get in some stretching and basic yoga poses at home. I find its a nice/relaxing way to unwind after a long, hard day.

Home! It's more convenient for me. And for some reason, I feel like I would have to be in better shape to joing the gym so that I don't get looked at.

I end up on a detour to the coffee shop!!!
You know, one of those fou-fou coffees with the whipped cream and chocolate shavings.

Way more fun than working out.

I feel like if it is at home I am just not as motivated in doing it. When I am at home the couch always looks inviting
So for me I find that I actually work out when it is at a gym and I find myself sometimes competing with the person on the next machine even if they don't realize it. I know I am crazy

With 3 kids in school and only 1 at home I work out at the gym. I recently joined the YMCA and work out there. They have a supervised kids program for the 3 year old and a great selection of classes on a daily basis- Yoga, Pilates, Cycle, Sculpting, just to name a few. It has been so nice to spend some time for ME- what a concept right?

So my vote is the gym- I seem to be more motivated there than at home.

Oh boy...I love a good sweat! hahaha...usually at the gym...If I am at home, I'll run around with the dog (we have a large yard) but that's about it...

I LOVE the gym though...I'll sweat and come home sore...I love it!! On the treadmill I'll usually peek at the person next to me, and see how long I can run with them, at a faster pace though...I am seriously so unattractive at the gym, and come to think, a long time ago the BF in NM thought I was beautiful...
