| I just got my first sewing machine for Mother's Day this year and I'm absolutely positively hooked!!! I've made PJ's for the family and a few skirts for me - but my true passion is now quilts!!! I'm addicted and wondering if there were any other addicts out there! ![]()

| Jetgirls Ol' School Member | I've had a machine for 6 years, and a serger for almost 3. I have a secret, I begged for the serger for Christmas, I had a lot of projects I was working on before Kyla was born. Well I got it for Christmas, she came 3 weeks early, I never got to my projects, and here it is almost 3 years later, and I have NEVER even plugged it in!! I'm kind of scared of it, there are so many threads! Anyway, I wouldn't say I'm an ADDICT. But when I first got it, I made tons and tons of blankets for Caleb, but they all sucked. They came out crooked. I get these ideas in my head of something I THINK I can do, and then I try it, and it usually looks like crap. I wish I could be an addict. My SIL is, she knows how to do some pretty amazing stuff with quilts. |
