Good News ... and a Request

Hi Everyone!

It has been a super challenging 7 months since my husband started with the airlines and we finally have a month chock full of good news! We had our 20 week ultrasound the last week of August and found out that we are having a girl

. We had no preference but it was still exciting to find out one way or the other. Shortly after our appointment, we also got September's schedule ... and ... finally ... A HARD LINE! Full schedule, 14 days off, and 4 layovers in Chicago (where we commute from) ... YES! After a very trying August sitting reserve (again) and spending only 7 nights together the whole month, this month's schedule is truly a breath of fresh air!

Last weekend we were able to start house hunting around Indy and had very successful outing. The only thing holding us up is, that to qualify for our mortgage, I need to find a job in Indy. I wasn't planning on having to find one until after the baby is born in January because I am working full time where I am now but it looks like the search is on earliar than we had anticipated. My degree is in early childhood education and I left my dream job as the Education Coordinator for an inclusive child development center in North Carolina when my husband was hired by Republic. If anyone knows of a Director or Assistant Director job at a local child development center/daycare in the Indy area, I would greatly appreciate any information you might be able to pass on. I am hoping that through seven degrees of separation, someone might know of an open position. Thanks in advance for your help! Have a wonderful weekend!

Congratulations on your baby girl!!! And congrats on a hard line- that is great!

Our baby boy is also due in January (~18th....or whenever he wants to come!).

Sorry I can't help you on the request (we live in NH) but I wanted to say congrats on the baby girl

I might be able to find a contact! I have a friend that lives in Indy and her mother is owner of a childcare center, I don't know the name but I can get the info and maybe she will have more information or know places that do!!! PM me when you get a chance with your info!! Thanks Tracey
