So I was going to wait till Father's day to tell dh but I could tell he was starting to get suspicious because he knows usually around 2 weeks after our baby dancing marathon, I start bawling my head off about not being pg, so I think he was starting to realize it had been long enough that I should know by now. So I used my digital test so there was no faint lines, and wrapped it in some press-n-seal (so no one would be grossed out), and put it on top of a plate of brownies covered in tin foil. Then we went to my mom's for dinner, w/ my whole family there, and at dessert time my sister was the first to take it off, and she was laughing so hard and saying congrats and then Corbin, who never pays attention to anything, just was oblivious, and finally after my mom and everyone else had been talking about it, he was like "wait, who's pg?" and I said "my sister", and he was like "oh", and then my mom punched me in the arm and said "He doesn't even know??" cause they figured he knew already lol. It was pretty funny.

Corbin told the kids, and Caleb was sooo excited and Corbin asked him if it's a boy or girl and Caleb said "both", and Corbin was like "whoah, kid, let's have them one at a time ok?" lol. So I was going to wait until July 1st to tell my MIL cause that's her 60th bday and I thought it would be so fun that day, but I hadn't planned on telling the kids so since Corbin told them, I knew I had to tell MIL, cause they would have ruined it. So I the next day I gave her this poem:

Dear Grandpa & Grandma,

I do not have a face to see,
To put inside a frame.
I do not have soft cheeks to kiss.
I don't yet have a name.

You can’t yet hold my tiny hands,
Nor whisper in my ear.
It's still too soon to sing a song,
Or cuddle me so near.

But all that will change this February
They say that’s when I’m due.
I am your newest grandchild;
And I can't wait until I meet you!

I know you're waiting patiently,
With a little prayer to say
that I’ll arrive safe and sound
on my future birth-day.

But for now I’m up in Heaven
Aunt April takes good care of me
But someday soon, I’ll get to join
our Eternal Family!

This pregnancy has been really different so far than my other 3, they were all exactly the same. Kind of strange. It's been the most emotional one, that's for sure, April was supposed to be the first person that I told. She was with me through all the bawling and confusion and frustration when I wasn't getting pg. She never seemed to tire of my whining over it even though I really needed to give it a rest! She was planning on getting pg with her second in May, so we should have been pg at the same time. And I've been working on a slideshow for Greg with all the pictures of just him and Olivia, it's something she would have done for him, and I wanted to give him something special, but not include April's pictures in it, so that he could have something he watch over and over again, w/o having to see her. I hope that was the right choice, I was just trying to think that a future girlfriend/wife may also appreciate Greg having SOMETHING that's not got April plastered all over it. Anyway, so that's what I've been working on and it's making me bawl my head off.

Oh what a great poem. That is awesome.

And that's a cute way to tell everyone..but I can't believe you didn't tell your hubby first! My friend has known for 2 weeks and she's waiting until father's day. There's NO WAY I could even wait like 2 or 3 hours! LOL
