Default painting

So my husband is on a trip right now, and just threw it out there a day ago that an appraiser is going to come to our house TOMORROW to reappraise it. Conveniently for him, he won't be home until tomorrow night. That means I have to get everything ready at home by myself. No big deal, usually. I'm used to doing all the house work, even the major stuff. Something that may be a little too big for me to handle alone has come up, though.
We had a couple watermarks on the ceilings of a couple rooms (caused in one from 2 spilled drinks in our bedroom above, and in the other, a problem with the heatpump in the attic.) So yesterday I go to cover them up with Kilz. Works great. Then go to apply Behr ceiling paint... wrong freaking white! This new one is much brighter. Now I'm in major trouble. The kitchen's celing flows into the living room. There's NO way I can paint all this by myself. The guest bedroom, ok, but this is too much. I'm thinking I'm just going to apply Kilz to it all (because it blends slightly better) and then let my husband share in the joy of repainting. Grrr. I'm not a happy camper right now.

Anyway, this is more than just a vent. I wanted to see if anyone had any ceiling painting experience. You've got flight benefits, right? Get over here! No, kidding... but does anyone have any suggestions for painting? Something, anything to make this a little easier and quicker? Our ceilings are ultra smooth, and that's really not helping. I've got to use a foam roller, and go over and over spots. I went to Home Depot today to get a bigger roller, but the biggest they had was 6 inches! Sweet mother of god this is going to take forever.

Alright. I'm done. I should be painting now, anyway. Grrrrrr. = DH
