Black Widows

I am so repulsed. While working in the yard last month, I discovered quite a few Black Widow Spiders. I had never seen one in my life, and now come to find out they are all over my yard. While this was gross in itself, I found something more disgusting... one of those nasty, shiny-black, creepy, ewwwww-so-repulsive spiders on the staircase INSIDE. That's not going to fly with me. There is nothing worse than being scared in your own house. I feel like they're all over now (and I've only seen ONE inside!) Everytime something is in my peripheral vision, I jump a little.

Well, I called around to various exterminators and found them to be extremely expensive. Does anyone have any good home remedies to get rid of these creepy spiders?
