I scrub my stainless steel All-Clad with Barkeepers Friend and a stainless steel scrubber. The scrubber doesn't scratch it because it's steel on steel. I buy the big ones they sell in restaurant supply houses. But I see they sell a smaller version in my supermarket. I forget which brand--probably the one that makes the nylon orange-yellow one for non-stick scrubbing.

Thanks for this uber-tip, roz! We now do indeed have a new "friend!" We found Barkeeps Friend at our local hardware store. We tried it on the skillet that still had the unremoved overspray and it was gone, just like that! It also worked marvelously on the hardwater stains on our saucepan. Awesome.

I love Barkeepers friend, but now I have a new friend too. Its called Charlie's Soap (How's that Roz?!) Check out this site www.charliesoap.com . It is fantastic on my laundry-clothes are whiter and brighter than I've ever seen! ANd I used it on my George Foreman Waffle iron yesterday and it got off some nasty stuff! I'm seriously impressed with this product! Best yet, NO petroleum products and NO shipping charges. Very impressive. I bought a flour container to hold the laundry soap in my laundry room to help keep it dry.

LOVE IT!

Jackie

Do you use all of their products or just the laundry soap? I am wanting to try it but only want to order one product to test it out, which would you reccommend? Thanks!

What I did the first time was to get the smaller bag of dry laundry detergent (80 loads), and a spray bottle of cleaner which got me over the $20 limit for free shipping. I LOVE it in the washing machine, and last night used it in the dishwasher too! Nice and clean! I've used the spray cleaner on my laundry as a pre treater, on the baked on oil in my waffle iron and on some icky spots on my counters. It works VERY nicely! So, by going ahead and getting the second product, you have more options for use AND come out ahead shipping wise. I say just go ahead and get both. You won't be disappointed and if you are they will totally refund anyway. They even sent me a gift (small laundry pretreater) after my sis ordered some and noted me as her referral source. Who does that anymore? Get some!
