of course you never set your watch by the time your Pilot really comes home - his return day is today, my bday! they are literally flying him home, and FLYING HIM OUT because they have no one to bring on in his place.

its so ridiculous.

Of all days, Of course I knew what this entailed when I came aboard but still...

*sigh* we still have 6 hours for them to find someone, Please keep your fingers crossed for me, I miss him so

Nope.. no schedule is ever set in stone with a pilot. That's the only thing you can rely on, that it is not reliable!!!!

Yup, I just had a birthday last week .... and fiance was on the road. :-(

Thank you for your replies! Everyone! I really appreciate it alot.
So last night he calls around 5 or so and indeed he had to fly out again from vegas and then to van nuys but he got back by 930 and we had a really nice night, He had roses with him and a card! I thought that was nice he brought them from LA with him on the plane to make me smile! : )

He told me he was taking me away on a little vacation this week but wont tell me where! ?

Curious!
He was real tired, but we had champagne at his house after I picked him up! Yay!

Happy Belated Birthday! Glad everything turned out okay, even if it was late. And how incredibly sweet of him to have roses for you, what a guy!

Thank you so much ( and everyone for the Birthday wishes!)
He was so sweet to do that, he was SOOOOO tired. I am a bit concerned because I guess what happened was he got to Burbank and there was no trips on his itinerary left but the other dept who manages his flights said he needed to take the plane to Camarillo.. well he had already "called out" (?) and was off duty, so he said no he wouldnt take the trip, but the airline didnt have a crew to take the plane onto the next destination ( for maintenence) and he came home, He is a Captain and is very strict when it comes to protocol and what not ( at work and in life) I just hope he doesnt catch hell for coming home....
*sigh* I dont want him to be in trouble because of me...

I cant see him risking a job in this market for a bday! I certainly wouldnt want him to!!!!
