| The Dating Game It's not easy dating a pilot...We've all been there at one time or another. If your currently dating a pilot of any age, no matter where he/she is in their career then you'll find this forum helpful. A lot of experience from those who have *been there, done that* can be obtained in this forum. |

| ...comes to meet me for lunch at work ...wakes up early with me and irons my work clothes just to be nice ...feeds the animals without being asked ...pounces me after work because he missed me so much. Just out of curiosity, what are some of the little things your guy does when he's home that you specifically miss when he's out and about? |

| Jetgirls Member | I love snuggling on the couch with him and Felicity. I love it once we get the girls in bed and run for the spare room I love how he kisses me when he arrives back (we don't have the luxury of pouncing on each other right away because the children are always there). When he's away we talk on msn messenger and have webcams on and this is a lovely time too, we talk about things more intimately somehow when we do this. |

| Member | i love it when he gets completely relaxed and goofy... and can just unravel and get away from all things conventional ! I love how we can fall into our nutty, in-love selves...so quickly these days... it took some work, as it always seems like there is this crazy readjustment period( does anyone know what I mean here?) when he comes back, even though we are really close... When he is off, I revamp my schedule so I can spend more time with him, we have so much fun, we never want it to end....we;ve had our rough patches - but we both try to put forth the extra effort to remember the time we have together is precious and when he is away, that is the utmost time NOT to hide our feelings and keep things as "normal" as possible.... But its always very hard when the week is up... ( boo!) ...but then, it starts a whole other means of communication and love..... admittedly, its a challenge-- but sooo worth it! ( luckily, Ive only known him as a pilot, no flight school woes for me or crazy college days.... I feel very lucky, I dont know if i would have been able to handle that! G-d Bless all you jetgirls who have endured that, I give you sooooooo much respect!) Last edited by h0t4jel; 05-15-2008 at 05:12 AM. |

| he gets up with the baby!!! he takes T to school and picks him up, does homework and bed time. Its so nice to be able to slip out of mommy mode for a little bit. When I work, he makes me lunch...(when I was pg, everyone ate out of my lunch b/c it was HUGH, he wanted a big fat healthy baby!) He wakes up and makes coffee and gets me on my way, even on the days when he doesn't have to get up (no school) He cleans the house, and does the laundry. so nice to come home to a clean house!

| takes out the trash and then brings the cans back to the garage after the pick up. loads & unloads the dishwasher. washes the white clothes (even if it is only because he needs his uniform shirts). |

| Jetgirls Member | I now have a full time househusband who does all those things. But it's when he leaves me notes that say things like "what's your ETA? Please advise" that remind me he's still a pilot. K And Kristen, I'm with you on the walking back out part. These last 11 weeks have not been an easy adjustment.
