Lol, sorry to keep you hanging...I think there was actually a separate thread on the result of this. It turned out to be a moot point because it was a holiday weekend and he couldn't get me a seat on a flight out there. He had to come to me, instead.

We did talk about why I was upset about the situation. It came down to me saying that there aren't a whole lot of good reasons to say, "I'd like to see you, BUT..." Work is a good one. Attendance at a funeral.

The birthday party of a girl he casually dated does not make the list.

He wanted to be clear that he never meant to say I couldn't come, he just wanted me to know that he'd made this other plan, which he also said he was happy to break because it was no big deal. Yadda, yadda, yadda.

Anyway, apologies all around and it's all good. Thanks for checking in

Keep us updated, I find your situation very helpful ( not that you are hurting or were/are hurt or going through something hard) but to see how you demonstate the integrity of keepin it together with your Pilot in hard times
