The Dating Game

It's not easy dating a pilot...We've all been there at one time or another.

If your currently dating a pilot of any age, no matter where he/she is in their career then you'll find this forum helpful.

A lot of experience from those who have *been there, done that* can be obtained in this forum.

I agree with what anonymous said. The only reason I haven't been more vocal about it is that you seem to have your mind made up about this guy. It sounds like you're so infatuated with him that you'll see past all of the red flags and make up excuses for what he's doing. Believe me, I've been there too - hung up on people that are bad for me. More than once! And I've been in therapy ever since!! It's been an eye-opening experience. Everyone here just wants you to not get hurt anymore by this guy.

I hope that we're all wrong... but I'm pretty sure that we're not.

Honestly, this is getting old. We broke up last night anyway, so it's not like it matters. But again, I saw everything I need to see - his uniform, license, everything. I appreciate everything, I really do, and I do understand where you all are coming from. I'm honestly not making excuses or being naive. I have no reason to be now, because it is over. But I did see all those things, I talked to a friend of his that worked with him at ComAir a few days ago, I'm not dumb. He has taken a job flying for a musician's tour, so WE, not HIM, decided it would be better not to be together for a while, if at all. But that's it. So, thank you all for the advice over the last 2 months. I really appreciated it.

Hahhahaah, I watched that episode! The frantic mother of the boy was a bit much for me, though. But yes, he teaches you how to curl back the tips of your fingers as you're chopping so that you don't nip off some skin. eewwww. If you watch any of the shows on Food Network, all of the cooks/chefs use the same chopping technique (of the curling back of the finger tips). They must be taught that very early on.

And yes, is that his nephew? Alton kept calling him his nephew, but they look soooo much alike, he'd pass as his son!
