The Dating Game

It's not easy dating a pilot...We've all been there at one time or another.

If your currently dating a pilot of any age, no matter where he/she is in their career then you'll find this forum helpful.

A lot of experience from those who have *been there, done that* can be obtained in this forum.

Just to be sure, I still think he is a great guy despite he is not THE ONE for me. I donot blame him other than not letting me know earlier -- even that it is not him to blame. Human emotions are complicated. I think he had best intention when we met and all along. He might be have struggled to come to a conclusion on us...

Whatever it is, it is the past. I am glad that we met, even it is just for a season, not a life time...
You sound so healthy! Yay for you.

It made me laugh. Thanks!

I am not a very girly girl in that regard. I remember in college, every girl was doing knitting. My mom knits too.

I plan to take up jelwery making instead.

Been crying though. Went for walk, now donot want to do anything.

I know I will be OK though. All said and done, he is a great guy (with his shortcomings). I will let him go with love.

I think the email he sent was very nice and probably from the heart. I know it's easier to say things better in writing than in person. So it may have been the coward's way, but it was probably straight from the heart.

Gal, you do have your head on straight! Get the tears over with and then find out where all those guys that were at the party that liked you are! Get back in the game!

I know it is from his heart. And I agree it is easier to say things in writing than in person. I would have been a mess if he said some of those things to me in person.

Not saying that I am not a mess now. Been crying...

Thanks again, everyone.

I'm sorry you are hurting. But you are a talented special woman and you know it! So you will move on and move beyond!

And when you are creating your jewels to sell, let us know.

Just don't leave us, because you are one of us!

In the mean time, hugs to you!

Thanks Mum for reminding me. I wish it is that easy to get back in the game. Those guys in the party last weekend. Hm, I think I can find them. But that is too forward for my taste. So I have to find a way to bump into them somehow.

Oh, I was in San Francisco this afternoon for some business related stuff (I am living in Sonoma for the summer), and gosh there are good looking guys there. How come there is no good looking guys here in Sonoma. OK, not just good looking, but other things as well as the pilot in question was too good looking, and that was one of the reasons I liked him a lot -- just kidding here.

Anyway, All summer so far I have been trying to working on myself (flying, other hobbies) and friendship with female. Now I have to pay attention to guys again! So I'd better move back to SF sooner than later.

Thanks a lot, Roz. I have made a few earings, etc. Will try more and let your guys know.

Thank you all for your support. I got tons of books, and plan to work on myself a bit before starting date again. I feel my ONE is on the corner -- I guess I am optimistic. And I hope he knows how to fly a plane, at least not objecting that I know how to fly.

SFblue, you put a smile on my face. If you're noticing all the good looking guys, you're gonna be fine. Go arrange to bump into those guys and go have some fun! Life's too short.
