The Dating Game

It's not easy dating a pilot...We've all been there at one time or another.

If your currently dating a pilot of any age, no matter where he/she is in their career then you'll find this forum helpful.

A lot of experience from those who have *been there, done that* can be obtained in this forum.

Good luck!
I think that's really the key - moving when you're pretty sure you know you want to be together. It's important to clarify, too, that moving to be with someone doesn't necessarily mean you're not strong-willed and/or independent.

(It can, of course, though...if you move because you're afraid NOT moving will be the end of the relationship. Like getting married, the move should not be made to KEEP someone, but because you have a desire to be with them. This isn't meant to be an argument against what you've said, Amanda...I just think there's an important distinction to be made between the two. Especially when one person - usually a woman - might wrongly assume, "Well - crap. If I move to be with him, that means I'm not being independent!" Which isn't really true.)

I think you have nothing to lose from checking out a new place with an open mind. You might not want to move for him, but it doesn't have to be for him. It could happen that you love Ky and want to live there. I know I haven't been around for the whole conversation, but I live in KY and if you'd like to get together while you are here, I think it would be fun. How long will you be in town? And where--I am thinking near Cincinnati?

I am going for a visit the 19-23 of September. I will be close to Cincinnati. He lives in Florence, KY right now. It would be great to try and get together.

We aren't moving back until October or November, but after that definitely! Our house is in Elsmere (part of Erlanger) which is like right next to Florence. We can get together at some point! Who does he work for?
