The Dating Game

It's not easy dating a pilot...We've all been there at one time or another.

If your currently dating a pilot of any age, no matter where he/she is in their career then you'll find this forum helpful.

A lot of experience from those who have *been there, done that* can be obtained in this forum.

Default That time is finally here

Ive been gone for awhile....I need to update you all. J and I have been trying to spend a significant amount of time together throughout his training for the wonderful Mesa Airline and we have been having a blast! I have decided to move to Queen Creek to help out a family friend for a couple months while I am not in school and its been an emotional roller coaster the last couple days. Heres why....
Well J and I begin the journey this month that many of you have been doing for years. I will be relocating to Queen Creek, Arizona and he will start the new job commuting to Chicago and living in AZ. I am very nervous but at the same time I am so excited he has been presented with such a great opportunity. He has told me he appreciates how supportive I have been with his career choice the past 3 years and I have been his biggest cheerleader.
I just cant get over being a bit scared of what the future holds for us. I ended the relationship this past December so I could do a lot of thinking and make sure this is what I really want in a relationship and the whole time we were apart I couldn't stop thinking about what I loved about us and how it worked for us. He later told me he thought the same things.
I know I have asked before but I think now that it is only a week from beginning I will take it all in more. Does anyone have advice for a couple that has been together non stop for 3 years that is now starting in this business? I mean I trust him whole heartedly and he trusts me the same. I think I am just overwhelmed with emotions and the thought of only seeing him twice a month kind of gets to me right now.
So with all that said.....throw some advice our way. lol!
