The Dating Game

It's not easy dating a pilot...We've all been there at one time or another.

If your currently dating a pilot of any age, no matter where he/she is in their career then you'll find this forum helpful.

A lot of experience from those who have *been there, done that* can be obtained in this forum.

I think my Dad liked ONE guy that I ever brought home and I think thats because he was a military guy and was full of "yes, sir"s. hahaha For many Dads, no one is ever good enough for their little girls, I don't have brothers, so I don't know if its the same. My advise would be not to "push" it and just tell John to be himself, and it should all eventually work itself out. Good luck Em!!

my dad has always been like this, but the thing is it puts John on edge so he doesn't feel comfortable around my dad.

I guess right now this isn't that much of an issue since I live in Utah (John will be joining shortly) and my folks are back in Michigan but still. *sigh*

Just remember that it is "you and John" that need to be happy,

John will learn to not be on edge after a while. I know that from personal experiences.

But the best thing is that he has won 1 person over so the others can't be too far behind.

the biggest proof to your parents that he's the best is YOUR actions, if your happy and smiling then they will know he's good for you and he helped put those smiles on your face
