| Argh. We're usually pretty good about fighting - don't name call, generally try to solve things out. But we had a minor fight last night... well, the subject was minor. But I just can't seem to get across to him how much it meant to me and that it hurt that he seemed to blow it off and that it seemed like he was blowing it off even after he told me he wasn't blowing it off. Argh! I can't get ahold of him and he's flying later today until late. Double Argh! Know what I mean, Verne?? Sorry, needed to get that out. It'll bug me all day, otherwise! |

| I hear you girl, my hubby and I are terrible fighters, no name calling and that stuff, but the total Mars and Venus thing. we have the hardest time getting things straighted out. Plus he is a *lets leave it alone for awhile and pick it up later guy* and I am a *stay up all night and work this out* girl. Good thing there is make up ***! ![]()

| One of my best friends sometime told me, that guys don't see things like we do..that per se is nothing new, not like I just discovered the moon...but basically, no matter how angry we ( girls) get trying to get the message to them...they just don't pick up our vibs.. I'm sure that you communicate lot easier with girlfriends...sometimes they just pick up in what mood you are by looking at you..and my BF almost never...uff...usually when I get quiet...and don't say a word for like half day, than he gets the clue..talk about quick! If there were a schools to learn the man talk jejej... well...I don't know if I am of any help...but...at least you are not alone... ![]() |

| absolutely! lol and then he tries to placate and is totally unserious and I'm just like "ahhh!! I meant it, for crying out loud!" and he just wants to ignore it and I want it to be all good again... argh. oi. I figured I wouldn't be the only one with this problem!! Thanks for the reassurance that I'm not the only one without a built-in translator I could make some good money making one of those... ![]() |

| Jetgirls Member | My DH truely is an "alien" ... I tell him all the time I am going to call INS and tell them to come and get him!! I agree with what you are saying. I personally love his glib answers... "nothing you can do about it" or "ah, you all right"... Grrr... I may start out ticked at someone else, but when he starts giving those answers, or one word answers, I go ahead and move on to him. LOL |

| Jetgirls Ol' School Member | Mine dh does that, too. Another thing he does when I am trying to explain to him how important something is is ignore me. He says hes not ignoring me, but hes always staring at the tv or playing with the cats or eating. Something to take his attention away from me. Then I'll say something and he won't respond. I have to say "well SAY something!" And he says he doesnt have anything to say. OH he drives me nuts. Can you tell we just did this like yesterday? Oh he drives me nuts!!! ![]() But even when I'm mad at him I'll tell him I love him and to be careful when hes flying. Even if I have to call him after he has hung up on me and I have to yell while I'm saying it. Its like the atheletes who wear the same socks for every game or something. I am afraid if I don't say it, he won't be careful, which is so stupid, because of course he will be careful. I don't know if thats being superstitious or being OCD. Whatever it is, I'm not going to stop saying it!
