Prayers needed, please...

Kristie, didn't know where else to put this.

DH called tonight, and his dad is in the hospital here in TX.

His dad is 88 years old (or somewhere around there) and still a practicing Dr. planning on retiring this year. His dad has been having fainting spells today, and had about a 5 min span of incoherency.

I don't know much else about what happened, except he's in the hospital.

From my experience, the more people sending good thoughts/prayer/whatever you believe towards the person in need can make a difference.

If you guys can keep DH, his dad, and his family in mind I'd really appreciate it.

He's alright!

Sometimes I hate knowing medical things, because when there's a problem, my mind immediately picks out all the possibilities...some not so pretty.

Luckily, this was only an undetected UTI that almost went septic, but not quite. Fixable, and not life-changing, and not necessary for my BF to come home. He's able to work it all out through phone calls with his brother.

Thanks for the prayers, guys! I was pretty worried for a while there.

I'm glad that he's alright and that it's nothing serious. I wish him a speedy recovery and he's in my prayers anyways...

I'm sorry your FIL isn't doing well. Can I ask what his name is? I'd like to add him to my prayers that I have with a lit candle.
