The Dating Game

It's not easy dating a pilot...We've all been there at one time or another.

If your currently dating a pilot of any age, no matter where he/she is in their career then you'll find this forum helpful.

A lot of experience from those who have *been there, done that* can be obtained in this forum.

Oh well. I guess the decision will be made as our relationship and careers grow! I appreciate all the input.

Wow, that really sounds like a great job. I think you should defiantly look into that travel nurse thing. The good thing about a pilot is that they are pretty portable. My boyfriend moved last year to live near me, and when I finish school I have the option to move anywhere in the country. He's up for it.

The way I figure it, you're young and this is an opportune time to travel and try different places to live.

Cool! Someone else is in my boat!

Well, not cool that we're IN this boat but... oi.

I'm thinking about going back to school and getting a nursing degree (anesthesiology sounds quite enticing). My current job will allow NO movement what-so-ever. I'm here or I'm not.

So advice for you? Not so much. But wanted to let you know that you're not alone in the moving boat or the nursing boat. Luck!

Yup! That's the cool thing about this site. Someone else has usually "been there, done that" and can say, "silly girl, that won't work..." or "Yeah, I tried that and it was great!" At first Dave wasn't for this site, but now he realizes that it helps me (and validates the things he tells me!), so he's all for it.

As for nursing school, I highly recommend it! It'll make you a bit crazy, and pretty unavailable to your SO. Hopefully he'll realize how it'll benefit your future and his. When I met Dave, both of us were in school and crazy, so it was okay. He used to drive 2 hours to see me just so we could sit and study together.

But anyways, Let me know if you have any questions about nursing school, etc. Just send me a message!

Lara
