It sucks to be me....because...

i have to see the bf so frustrated because he has been on ready reserve for 6 months now and logs more hours on flight sim than in the actual plane after he's worked so hard

i managed to get bad enough viruses on both our computers in the same weekend that he had to reformat both of them today and all i could do to help him was cook meals for his next week at jfk

i was just cleaning and looked under the bed and saw the frame has broken when we only got it 4 months ago

our extra money for fixing things went to the car last month

i already have a big paper due next week for my globalization and culture class, and was just assigned a 10 page single-spaced paper for strength of materials due in two weeks

omg i can't wait for this semester to end!
but after venting i do feel a little better

sometimes i really WISH i had a mail BOX attached to my house or at the end of the driveway....having to drive to the nearest post office or usps mailbox is a PITA when it's the ONLY outside errand you have to run! GRRRRR

Oh, this is just what I needed! It sucks to be me because I have been living in semi-rural China for 3 years with NO girlfriends, constantly surrounded by male pilots and the opportunity my husband had to move to an airline in an awesome little city dissipated when they announced hiring freezes... Now the flight school we work at is looking more and more like a loser and I really don't want to end up stranded in Asia. But, on the other hand, we don't have debt and being stranded in Asia for 6 months might not be too bad IF there is something worth waiting for...

Im confused? You dont have a mailbox?

we have a mailbox (that we receive mail in), they're community mailboxes similar to what you'd see with apartment lifestyles, that's about a 5 min walk (standard tract home neighborhood thing out here) and altho it used to have a "mail out" slot, they covered that up once mail started getting stolen around the valley. so now we have to drive to a mailbox if we want to send out mail.

It sucks to be me because my baby sitter just called to say her husband wrecked his truck and she now doesn't have transportation to my house. To complicate matters, DH is overnighting here in town and will need to get back to the airport in the am, but sitter will need to use our second vehicle to take my son to pre-K later in the day. Looks like I'll be leaving the kids with DH at the crack of dawn to go pick up babysitter, back to the house to drop off sitter and pick up DH, take DH to airport, then drive myself to work. Whew! That's alot to do before 8am!

Ah the joys of being a single mom while DH flys away.....
