Default Discovery to land today

Discovery is scheduled to land today at one of the 3 landing facilities. If Florida/California doesn't look good, then they might have to land at White Sands, New Mexico for only the second time in the space shuttle program.

Update is in a few minutes, they are really hoping for a Florida landing around 5:30ish.

YAY for a succesfull mission.

Now here is the question, they just dropped off an astronaut to the ISS. She is scheduled to be there for 6 months....would you do it???

My answer is OF COURSE!

Yup! Safe landing right on schedule. They were able to land in Florida (which is good, if not they have to put the Orbiter on NASA's 747 and fly it back to Florida....not cheap!).
