Thanks for asking Kristie! Puerto Rico was fabulous (we've been there many times). We based ourselves in Fajardo so Charlie could scuba dive. There are a lot of islands off the coast with nice reefs with pretty fish and coral. The water is warm like bathwater. We snorkeled, kyacked, danced a lot of merengue, ate great food and drank great wine. We went south and he surfed. We went to the rain forest and hiked the trails. We had a wonderful view of the ocean from our hotel and the service was terrific. We stayed at the Wyndam El Conquistador Resort. We almost bought a condo on an island right off of Fajardo. But then we'd have to buy a boat to get to the condo. But we might still do it.

It was a struggle figuring out what to do since we couldn't accomplish plan A which was my cooking class in Tuscany. That will be accomplished one day!

I wrote a note that I mailed along with the book to Michelle, and yes, the handwriting is pretty bad!

Typing is no picnic either.....I'm consantly having to backspace because of my damn finger......

Yes--If I couldn't have my dream, I was going minimalist! Free flight and deep discounts. We rented a car--but you don't have to. Plus in doing so, I got triple Southwest points that got me a free trip on them. And as a Wyndam by request member, we got perks at the hotel (including a bottle of wine and a bowl of fruit in the room every day). In fact, the most expensive thing was the gas on the way to the airport!
