gosh.. it's quiet today...

Wow- seems like a lot is going on!
I haven't posted in a while since nothing"big" has been happening. Well, I am up for a promotion at work, which would be great. It's a very unusual position. I would be a "Loaned Executive" from my company and work for The United Way for 5 months. In that time I would drive around the Phoenix AZ area and go to different companies to make presentations. It would be a nice change of pace (not mention a bigger paycheck!). The interview went extremely well so we'll see. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Nick and I went to a wedding in Denver a few weekends ago. We had a blast! We also took time to see Denver. What a beautiful city. I would definitely consider moving there!

Nick is at the minimums right now for a Cpt upgrade. He has 4 letters of recommendation so he's just waiting to find out. I speak to him every day but I wish I could see him. Unfortunately his schedule for the next month is horrible. I won't see him again until July 24 for a few days. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]
Oh well, this is the life of being with a pilot, right?!

that's right!! just keep thinking that and you'll get through it just fine! "it only goes up from here" is what i used to tell myself on a daily basis when doug was building time.. granted, he still gets some crappy schedules but they must be improving cuz he has all the weekends off in july (WOW!)... what a treat!!

well, at least you got your car back & that it was in "good condition" Christine!! that's one good thing....but it'll probably feel weird to sit in after you get it back...is the insurance company reimbursing for all of the damages?

I'll be putting the europe photos probably this weekend.. we have some very artistic shots which i have to figure out how to protect (cuz we might put them up for sale).. so once i get that figured out, they'll get up there... one of them (taken in the gas chamber at Dachau) is so artistic, it looks like there are ghosts moving around in there (even though they never used that particular camps chamber).. weird but very interesting on how the photo turned out! soon - promise!! We have a $250 deductable, so insurance is covering everything past that; which is a lot with the stereo and the amplifier being stolen.

Denver is a beautiful city. You are correct Amanda. I love Denver. I want to move back to Denver.
