Jeez third earthquake in Cali since Sunday!!!!!

WOW, we just had another earthquake!!! This one was 5.3 with a 3.5 aftershock 1 minute later!!!

On Sunday there was a 5.2!! These have both been centered near us!!!

On Sunday night there was a 7.0 off the shore in Northern Cali, we didn't feel that one, too far away.

But Jeez, that's a lot!!!!!

I've not felt any of them.
But who knows what the future holds.

Just make sure you have your quake list/bag ready and updated!!

having 3 earthquakes at a time is strange - but maybe it's better in the long run to alleviate and stop a really major quake from happening?? i couldn't tell ya though cuz i don't know a thing about them! haha [img]images/graemlins/shrug.gif[/img]

where was the 3rd one centered at? i haven't yet seen the news...was it out in the ocean again?

The first one on Sunday morn was centered in Anza, about 30 miles from us, the 7.0 in the middle of the ocean was later that same night toward northern Cali, we are in Southern Cali. Then the one yesterday was centered in Yucaipa, about 20 miles from us!!!! They were so many aftershocks, no major damage though [img]images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] Just a scare

ON the news this morning they made a point that this wasn't unheard of. A similar thing happened in 1980 and then again in 1986. And it's followed by quietness.
