Default so, I know what my excuse is - what\'s yours?

for not posting/talking? I know we have quite a few new members, but they don't seem to be introducing themselves and I wonder why?!

I've been super *seriously* busy at work.. 3 project all due by the end of this week. On top of it, I've been dealing with a seriously *no JOKE* dirty house & left over to do things since the stint with my dad 2 weeks ago...so that's where i've been!

where you all been lately? or just nothing new to talk about? (we should set up a chat next week huh?!)

well, in any case...

Maybe its just that time of year..I've been maxxed out workwise and still am and it doesn't seem to be clearing.

I think someone just needs to jump in and take the initiative to start a thread and everyone will follow.

Eric was off for the past 7 days, so we did lots of family stuff and a ton of swimming. Our pool reached 90 the other day! On his 4th day off, I broke my toe! In 3 spots! And there is nothing that can help it but tape! It hurts like hell and I can't seem to stay off it with 2 little boys running around. And of course not a single family member lives here to help me out! WAHHHHHH!

Well, it seems like both DH and I have been sick for at least three weeks, now. Horrible cough, no sleep, etc. Both of us missed some work. Also, since UAL just gave away all of AWAC's flying, we have been contemplating lots of life changes, as you can imagine, which have not only been taking up a lot of time and energy, but making us quite cranky! As my job could go away at any moment as well, working for an unstable hotelier in the travel industry, we are very unsettled these days. Hope everybody is well!

It must be crunch time...

Ive hired and fired a few employees since I last posted, but the current one is fabulous...we have so much fun together (today, we each had a dog and were duck-walking through the park...Ill admit thats probably not that best way to exert authority over an employee, but I have to have fun sometimes). Seriously, she has been a tremendous help and dont know what Im going to do when she heads off for the summer.

My Grandmum keeps falling and injuring herself. First, she cracked her head (literally) and required stitches. Then she shattered her elbow and now requires reconstructive surgery, but we're not sure if she can withstand such a procedure.

Im in the process of getting a new car, which is exciting and scary. Theres way too much info to digest and the sales people are too intense. I try to simplify things by thinking...pewter or silver? Once I decide then Ill never be home!

Otherwise, same ole same ole...everyone is happy and healthy overhere!

Well, haha, I have no excuse for not posting. The beginning/middle of March I was extremely busy working on my research and then preparing for and giving my first oral presentation at a conference. It was fun, but I'm glad that it's over with.

Now I'm just trying to stay motivated, so I can finish up my research by the middle of the summer and then write my thesis and graduate in December. Sigh, I'm so burned out on school. I just want to get my Masters and get out of here.

It's not really that bad, I think I'm just a little bit stressed out right now because I don't know if I'll have funding (i.e. rent and food money) after June. The funding agency is extremely behind this year (we should have found out in February).

Anyway, otherwise life is good. I got to spend a large part of last week with my boyfriend, which was really nice.

I've become rather blah towards life ...mainly because I don't like my job and am contemplating a career switch. To what, I don't know yet which as you can imagine is rather frustrating to not know what to do as a job. John's been busy as hell with GLP (the indoor drumline www.greatlakespercussion.org) so I've only gotten to see him like 3-4 days/month. This week I was in North Carolina for work (training for a study) I took today off of work though so I could drive out to see him last night before he left today for GLP for the weekend, but he'll be back like 10pm tomorrow night. Next week I'll be in Miami for work (conference for the same study) and then May 4-20 John and I will be in Europe!

I'm really tired of work right now and I really don't like my job and the pay sucks so I've been somewhat miserable and grouchy, so rather than lay it on you guys, I've been keeping quiet (both here and at JC). My excuse is that I'm spring cleaning and we all have nasty colds this week. Caleb even lost most of his voice, which in a sad way is kind of nice (a lot less fits lol). I only logged on to look at Emily's avatar. Haha.

Well, my excuse is i've been pregnant, had bronchitis, and we just bought a condo!! Oh! and working of course. I'm excited about the condo though. I can't wait til we close at the end of this month and I can start working on the nursery!! A little late to be "nesting" but better late than never.

I've been in an anti-computer phase.

Spending so much time on the computer at work that the last thing I want to do when I get home is play on the computer. And PF doesn't work too well on my computer at work.
