NOW i'm pissed - the nigerian scam game has begun.

If you really want to know what to look for when it comes to nigerian scams, just ask me! My dad, with his infinite wisdom during his downspiral, actually responded and gave all his information away...along with mine...

here, now... starts all the fun stuff like:

paperwork with my name & my dad's bank account information on it

and

certificate of authenticity? YEA RIGHT!

I don't care if we have to change everything financial with him/me.. they won't be getting a red cent... [img]images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img]

I'm so frustrated with all I have to deal with that now i've got to put this up to priority #1 - ARGH!!! [img]images/graemlins/burningmad.gif[/img] [img]images/graemlins/bitch.gif[/img] [img]images/graemlins/453.gif[/img]

edit: did i mention i was frustrated? i'm about to boil over and not quite sure how to handle all this now....it's just getting completely overwhelming [img]images/graemlins/sad-smiley-034.gif[/img]

OMG! I am so sorry you have to deal with THIS now. I hope everything gets sorted out. Jeez...

Have you talked to his bank and yours about this? Make sure that they know not to release any money at all and all that? Maybe see if they will change your account numbers!

*hugs* seems like we're all having a rough time lately! (i'll post my story tomorrow)

Oh no!

Get on the phone right away and call your bank! Especially yours, because YOU did not approve anything related to your name.

OMG I can not imagine. Why do people have to try to scam people like this. It makes me so mad.

Did you report this as fraud? I recently saw a story on the local news about this and it said to report any of the Nigerian scams to the police and I think they will direct you to the FBI as well. Sorry you are stuck in this situation.

good ideas! we changed all his bank account numbers yesterday and I'm waiting to see if anything shows up on my stuff before i got changing my own because doug and I have a ton of different accounts and it would be such a hassle/process!!

but yea, i think i will report it - wasn't even sure if you could! not sure how they'd be able to find the source of the scammer or not!
