Are we all a bit boring?

Lots to catch up on! I've been in DC at a legislative conference and spent the day today on the hill talking with my senator and congresswoman about HR issues and getting them to commit to use me as a expert source when they are considering bills and issues related to HR. And, as an aside, we had a nice discussion about the age 60 regulation.

So, Sarah, I hope Andrew gets some flying time in soon. I know it can really get to them sitting around. Being on reserve stinks because it seems as if they either use you like crazy or they let you sit. There's no happy medium. I'm sorry you've been sick. That's a bummer. I came home tonight to Charlie being sick. He's miserable and has to fly to Tampa to move his mom out of her apartment into the medical facility (she keeps falling and hurting herself but isn't aware enough to call for help).

Stacy, it's a real bummer that SWA offered the interviews and then decided that they would stop hiring. The good news is that I heard it's because they can't get the number of new airplanes they hoped to get. So it will happen--just later than expected.

New moms are excused! Especially if it's a second or beyond! I had enough exhaustion with one--I can't imagine going through that again with a toddler running around!

Amanda's always got a full volunteer and social life! Gosh I wish I had that energy!

As for me--gotta get some sleep! I've been up since 4 AM!
