| Jetgirls Ol' School Member | Oh I feel great and I am pretty much adjusted, I just mean that it's hard to come up with anything witty or fun to talk about w/o much sleep cause my brain isn't really on. Corbin does help a ton. I get about 3 hours of sleep before she wakes to eat, then another 3 or 4 before she wakes again. I do also usually take a nap for an hour or two in the afternoon. But when it's all broken up instead of 8 hours in a row, I still feel pretty tired and too boring to come up with much conversation lol. I just need to start going to bed when she does. And we are in a little breast feeding hurdle but once that's over she should go 6-8 hours at night. |

| I've been really sick for the last week. Its freezing cold here and I'm miserable because its nearly a month since I saw my BF. Every trip he bid on in the last 3 weeks dropped through and as of end next week he's back on reserve. |

| Jetgirls Member | Definitely boring here. Trying to keep my head above water w/ two BUSY little boys! DH on reserve and looking at a furlough around May or June! How much does THAT suck! I bug out to my folks alot when DH is gone. They live an hour away and live on a lake so I've been totally spoiled w/ their support! Speaking of little ones...I hear the first one up! Have a great rest of the weekend ladies! |

| Admin/Owner ![]() | Lurker, why is he back on reserve? did he switch planes/bases? Hope you feel better!!! Everyone seems to be getting sick over here too...We finally got some warmer weather in AZ after pretty much an entire winter of rain... went from 50's-60's straight into the 90's this weekend with nothing BUT sun..so it's been a nice change, just not liking the going from winter to summer period - I'm going to have a great peach/grapefruit season (buds are already there even when the leaves aren't!) and i need to do some serious clothes shopping for the warmer weather! haha av8rwyf - furlough's are never good!! I was hoping to not hear that word for a long time, but with the way things are going it seems like the ship is just not turning yet...does dh have his resume updated, out and about already? |

| No-no changes in plane/base. Just the way it works - or doesn't. There is no method in it at all. Everything just changes at a moments notice. He hasn't had a trip for over 3 weeks now and its getting to him too. Weather is the same here. It goes from 22 and 98% humidity one day to rain and 9 degrees the next. Everyone is getting sick. >Av8 - sorry to hear about the possibility of a furlough. |

| Jetgirls Member | Resume is updated and sent out. Well, he's never been furloughed so he's sort of "due." Not that that makes it better. He's not really ON reserve its just that he's commuting from CLT to MDW. The only "commutable" lines are reserve lines. They arent really even commutable. The hotels needed are stacking up. May have to look into a crash pad but they are getting expensive too. SWA will give preferential interviews once you get your furlough letter but they are done interviewing and hiring for now. Dont need anyone. But once they start interviewing again, the furlough letters still hold. Blah blah blah.... |

| I am sure I have been pretty boring lately and I know I haven't posted much at all lately. I started a new job (this is my third week) and I am going through that awkward adjustment period trying to figure out the culture and people's personalities and figuring out how everything works. I have to get up an hour earlier than i used to so i usually zonk out by 9pm except for the days i have night classes. DH and I did just buy our first house this past weekend so that has been pretty exciting! We have the home inspection coming up this weekend. Fun fun. Wishing everyone a happy hump day tomorrow! |
