[/ QUOTE ]well, i've got a pretty good olive skin tone.. so a lot of blues and pinks dont work for me.. maroon/burgundy, purples, greens, dark blues work good.. mostly darker colors because of the skin tone....but i'm just so used to wearing black cuz it's a "slimming" color that sometimes, it's hard to get out of hte habit of buying the same color. every now and then, i get a "geez, i should look for something that i normally wouldn't wear & buy it" phase, which is what i did with the red sweater! using pinks/light blues as an accessory usually work great - i think it just has to do more with the colors against my olive tone cuz if you put blue eye shadow on me.. i just look WEIRD! hahaha almost sounds like we should all get together for a shopping trip eh?! mall of america maybe? haha I can just imagine the looks on our DH's face's after a trip like that?
