Good luck! Are you driving or flying? In any case, be careful!

I think the whole nation is having some nasty weather right now! We have over $100 million of damage in St. George from flooding (and that is just the public property damage, not including the loss of 30+ 10,000 sq ft houses and land!) Then the Cali floods, and I've seen some major snow in's. What the heck is going on? Some one pissed off Mother Nature!

It was horrible! The rain poured down and it hailed too! I was driving my new car and prayed that it wouldn't get dinged up!

I hope we're done with ours too. Luckily we didn't get any mudslides like So. Cal ... But the Sierra's got a buttload of snow!

It's really not that bad here on the NW side. A major storm system went through & dumped tons of rain and about an inch of snow a few days ago. There's bad flooding down on the south side, but not here. Now we're in the midst of a cold snap, the high today was 15, and it's 1 or 2 outside right now.

All in all though, I'll take the cold over a major blizzard anyday.

[/ QUOTE ] ever wonder if our weather changes are based on the new wobble we have in the earth - from that 9.0 earthquake and plate shift? ya'll heard about that right? ever since...everywhere in the nation has been getting weather that usually shows up further north! else it's that dang el nino! hahaha

[/ QUOTE ] i always enjoyed the blizzards when i was young! it was the time to go out and eat snow... and you always listened to the radio first thing praying for a snow day and a day offa school! loved those days!

it made getting down our driveway a bit rough though.. we were on a hill with a good driveway tilt of probably 60 degrees. but man was it fun sliding down it and making it slippery for the car wheels (of course, i had no idea back that that us kids caused the cars to slide down it! haha)...

ahhhh.. the memories!
