| Admin/Owner ![]() | on the weekend of September 24-26, 2004.. we're expecting a good 50-60 folks, so far....probably more... I'd like to also get a "Ladies get-out" night together for all the girls to spend some time getting acquainted and having fun... If you haven't heard of Network JC, it's our first annual networking event for pilots & wives/SO's, which will be held on Saturday Sept 25 from 4-6pm (and may run later considering how fun it was last year). This is the first official network event put on by jetcareers and Fcapa.. we think it'll be a raging success. There will be snacks, drinks (including non-alchoholic beers, because that's what I drink for the most part now)... It'll be held at the Hawthorn Suites on Duke Ellington Way (1/4 mile from the strip and pretty much across from MGM). I have discounted rooms reserved at the Hawthorn -> $89/night - king suite, $99/night - queen suite, we can also reserve the other suites like the 2bed/2bath king suite ($139/night) if anyone wants to "buddy up" with others. A website has been set up specifically for registering for Network JC and for getting the hotel group code to reserve your room. Please check it out and sign up at http://network.jetcareers.com. We're also putting together a Contact List which will have Names, Aliases and cell phone numbers. The contact list will be distributed 1 week prior to the event. Also, If your bringing your hubby, sig other or a guest, please let me know that persons full name as there will be nametags waiting at the door for everyone whose RSVP'd... I know Amber (MQAAord) and Emily (Skibum) will be attending so far... Everyone is more than welcome (whether your a spouse, girlfriend or other). The event is mostly an adult party weekend, but if you'd like to bring the kids, go for it... The room(s) must be reserved by August 24, 2004 - after that date, they are released to the public. When you hit "submit" on the registration form set up on the http://network.jetcareers.com page, the site will take you to a page that will list the hotel group code so you can reserve the room(s). if you have any questions, please let me know! |

| So we have until Aug 24th to decide???? It might be doable for us, but a stretch. |

| Admin/Owner ![]() | yup! you can decide after that of course, but you'll have to find a room elsewhere.. I can't guarantee the rooms after that date... However, if you think you can make it, I'd suggest reserving the room so at least you have it... then, if you find out you can't make it, you can cancel the room and get 100% refund so long as it's 72 hours (3 days) prior to checkin. | Admin/Owner ![]() | actually.. nope.. because there are two queen beds in the queen suite.. so that makes for 3 beds... 2 queen beds, 1 sofa bed... and in the king suite, you have 1 king bed and 1 sofa bed... so the queen suite is more expensive because you "could" pile up to 6 people into it... |

| Admin/Owner ![]() | Just an update... we have 55 people signed up for Network JC now (Sept 24-26)... August 24th is still the deadline to get a room... room rates went up over the weekend and most rooms (even the San Remo next door) are $150+, we have discount rooms at Hawthorn Suites for $89/nt and you can sign up for Network JC at network.jetcareers.com (that website, after registering, will give you the group code to reserve your room). we have 12 women coming with the guys.. most are spouses or girlfriends of which I'd like to do a "Girls Get-Away" time.. maybe a 2 hr time period where we separate from the guys, hit the lounge on our own and just talk girlstuff (or start up a girls only craps table, who knows)....we'll probably do that either friday night before we all go to Studio 54 or on saturday night after the event... If you have any ideas you'd like to do while in vegas, let me know...We're completely open to itinerary right now. most of the discussion has been going on over at jetcareers in this -> http://jetcareers.com/ubbthreads/pos...&Board=NJC forum we'll have goodie bags at the door and some raffles (I think - not 100% confirmed yet) and some door prizes as well.... It's really going to be a great time and i'm really looking forward to meeting some of you!!!! Any questions, let me know! |
