That's the way it was when I took my HR certification exams (except I knew I passed--I just wanted my score!). Now they are instant feedback though!

kewlio! you work in the engineering field? I assume your taking the FE to take the PE?

Nope, still a student right now (haha, I guess I'm too scared to be in the real world). I'm working on a Masters in Geological Engineering, and I have to take the FE to graduate. I suppose it's a good thing, cuz if I want to work in an engineering field I guess I'll have to take the FE at some point, and maybe work my way up to the PE.

When my brother first went off to college he had a rather, um, messy appearance. He liked ripped jeans, and he would not part with his dirty, old denim jacket for love nor money. Our mom told him to go to a homeless shelter, he'd fit right in and he'd get a free thanksgiving dinner.

She was only half joking.

hehehe that's kinda funny amber! Don't worry roz, he'll make a friend or two there who will take him home. Either that or buy him a cheap plane ticket on southwest (or whoever) and have him come home!

I'm here. But I'm too boring to come up with something worth talking about lol. My Tgiving plans--my mom and little sister are coming in from FL, to join me and college sister, so this will be the first holiday meal I have had w/ my family in 9 years. DH is being a bum about everything so he might be burried in my back yard by the time they get here We have had EVERY holiday meal w/ his family since I was 16, and he's already pitched a small fit that we are having our own this year. He thinks my family should just have it w/ his. Well his family is already including aunts, uncles, cousins, about 4 million little kids, and there is usually some foreign people too. As it is, about 4 adults usually have to sit at the bar because the table can only hold like 20 adults. There is no room, and there is no reason he can't go one holiday w/o his family. He even tried to get us to have our dinners at different times so we could have one w/ my family and then leave my mom and sisters to go have dinner again w/ his family. Um, NO. Anyway-we are also going to take a basket full of popcorn and hot cocoa and chocolates to the police department after dinner and before dessert, to tell them thank you for working the holiday to keep us safe. Dh thinks that's a stupid idea and he thinks the cops will think it's lame. Too bad what he thinks cause the rest of my family thinks it is a great idea. So that is why dh might be burried in my backyard soon, because he is being obnoxious and unsupportive.

Kristie- My brother left for college in 1990, so it's been a while. The 'unkempt' look was in then. I guess. Personally I think he looked like a homeless person (at the time, he's much better now).

Michelle- Hope Corbin gets 'better' soon! He does realize that once he starts flying for a living he'll have to give up most, if not all, holidays with family for quite some time? I swear sometimes it's so hard to get them to give up a routine they're accustomed too.

Not saying it's easy to be away on holidays, Christmas/Thanksgiving/New Year's in hotels suck. BTDT.

yeah.. i wish it was easier to non-rev cuz otherwise i'd go fly with DH this turkey weekend.. i'm not doing much else! but loads just seem to always be crappy! just trying to fly out to my sister's pad is going to be hellacious because getting into/out of florida is a pain in the freekin butt!

Michelle - hope Corbin smarts up! would hate to hear about any ditch digging!
