| Well, I'm just sitting here enjoying the quiet of the baby *finally* taking a nap. Waiting for the snow to start, we're supposed to get up to 5 inches throughout the evening/tonight. |

| Admin/Owner ![]() | No kidding?! from the photo of your car (on JC), it seemed that you'd already had enough snow! What's new with you Christine? I really don't have too much new going on.. trying to get the house cleaned up for the most part - and organized! |

| Jetgirls Plus Member ![]() | Hi everyone! I was MIA for a while. Nick was finishing sim trg/IOE in NY & PA and I didn't see him for 3 weeks. He was supposed to go to Pittsburgh after IOE. He called on Friday 2/6 and said that instead they wanted him to take some flights in New Mexico starting Monday 2/9. This meant he could come back to PHX and visit me before going to NM! I picked him up at the airport at 2am Saturday, then dropped him off this morning (Sunday) at 9am. It was a short visit, but it was so great to see him. Boy did I miss him... now I can start missing him AGAIN. I hope this gets easier at some point. He says there's a good chance he'll be able to visit me again maybe this weekend before he heads to PIT. I hope so! Amanda |

| Amanda, I can totally relate!! My DH is finishing up his IOE right now (I just dropped him off at the airport as well) and after that he will be gone for another 8 weeks. I can't wait til he gets his regular line. Hey - are your DH's bad drivers?? I've found that all of our pilot friends (my DH included) are horrible drivers! and can't navigate to save their lives. It cracks me up!Tanya ![]() |

| Jetgirls Ol' School Member | John usually isn't TOO bad of a driver, though one time we were going by the airport and he starts oogling a plane that is landing and almost rear ends the car infront of us. (he would have had i not yelled something) the worst part is...it was MY car he was driving!! |

| Jetgirls Plus Member ![]() | I laughed when I read what your post! Nick is an absolutely fantastic driver-- no tickets or accidents EVER. BUT... whenever we get close to the airport, he stares straight UP, not at the road! He even opens his moonroof so he can get a better look at the planes! There have been times that he has almost run us off the road! It is very surprising he has never rear ended anyone. |

| Well, since you asked, School started back up again last week, I started a new job a couple weeks ago, and Sierra is finally up and running again so Eric is flying (and getting out of the house - which is good). |

| Admin/Owner ![]() | That's funny... Doug's a pretty good driver - but not as good as me! haha Amanda, when does nick get back into town? Is he enjoying IOE? Tanya, who is DH working for now? Christine - what was going on with Sierra? |

| I had a post all ready to go and the window just closed. That is soooo irritating. :? Anyway, To make a long story short, Sierra shut down for a month (early December) to bring the building up to FAA guidelines, then it was sold to a Korean company in early January. They only have a couple planes right now and so nobody's flying too often. The previous owner had kindly removed the burden of having money in the students' accounts when he left (with the new owner's permission). The new owners are refunding all unused money in the form of flight time - so at least we're getting something for our money. JC has a bunch of posts about it.
