Supersize Me

We rented the movie "Supersize Me" the other night. It is new on DVD and it is a documentary about the fast food industry. Great movie, but UGH...you will NEVER look at McD's the same way again!

is it the type of movie that would turn you off of meat all together or just turns you off of fast food?

is it anything like the book "fast food nation"? DH said that was an extremely informative book that everyone should read! of course I haven't read it yet.. doh!

If i had some time, we'd start a book club.. but i haven't even found time to read any of my new smut novels I got at the book swap store in Tampa, Florida! :-(

I love/miss that store constantly, cant seem to find any book swap stores here in phx!

It won't turn you off meat, just fast food. One of the "special features" on the DVD is an interview with the author of "Fast Food Nation"....also a book I would like to read, but like you can't find the time!

Basically the guys goes on a 30-day nothing but McD's diet. Its amazing how it effects him!
