I am still in Michigan, got the "thanks for your resume we'll call you if something comes up" from the company in NY. I'm going to put in a resume to Google this weekend for a position based out in CA. I got my job offer earlier this week from Deer Valley, so if all else fails, I'm coming back! I'll be moving out the weekend after thanksgiving (if all goes according to plan ie car not breaking down this time!!)

I still really have no idea what i want to "be when i grow up" so i'm kinda meandering around applying for jobs that sound interesting. I'm still having issues with the idea of staying in one place for a long time, i'm starting to get itchy feet here, wanting to travel again.

i'm hungry...

I have a prediction for you: You will find a super hot guy in Deer Valley that will make you want to stay in one place, but he will be wealthy, so you will still get to travel, and eventually become an awesome wife and mom, and in the mean time you should go wherever you want and do whatever you and not worry about finding any stability or long term future w/ one certain company cause yo sugah daddy gonna take care o you!

If I was in the position of having no strings tieing, or tying, or tyeing, how the heck do you spell tie-ing? lol, me down, I'd try out a lot of different things I've always wanted to do, totally unrelated fields, just to get a taste of everything!

When I graduated from college, I moved back to my hometown and worked as a waitress for a year and then decided, "If I am going to work a job I dont want to work, at least I should do it in a town where I want to live." I moved to Crested Butte, Colorado and worked as a reservationist & learned to ski & snowboard. Then I moved to Lake Tahoe and became a bartender/blackjack & craps dealer. Now I've moved back to my hometown and have a new perspective on things, but I would never trade those life experiences--good or bad. Now I am married, have a teaching job, and am ready to start a family and I don't feel like I missed out on things.

Enjoy this time while you can and you'll figure out the rest as the opportunity arises.

keep trying!!! for every 10 resumes, you might get 1 call

sending out the resumes and trying to get in contact afterwards is key!

I've decided to hold off on sending more out until next march - i want to ski again this winter. I'm getting restless here. It's funny because while i'm out being aimless and wandering I don't mind that I really have no idea what I want to do - but once i sit stagnet for a while it starts to irk me that i have no "plan" or "career goal" or even "remote idea of what i want to do"

I need to get moving again.
