So I had some extra free time yesterday and was spending time on JetGirls and got into looking at alot of the older posts from years ago -- can't believe what I was missing!!

For real though - there were so many helpful things about doing that -- I read alot of threads that gave me some great advice that I had never thought of asking and I also felt like I got to know alot of you who have been here since the beginning better! It was really fun and interesting and I'm so glad I took the time to do it...it was like reading a good book, a few of the threads even had me crying - no joke.

I guess my point is - any newbies out there or people who never took the advice from the other women on here to "take a look at some of the older posts" -- do it!! It will really be worth your while.

I appreciate alot of you even more after reading more about you - you're all terrific and very strong women!!!

I have to add something else to this because now I'm getting obsessed with reading the archives - no joke i'm just about done with the love on the rocks section -- there were some threads that I had been a part of when I first joined that really influenced me alot and took a toll on my feelings about DF's job (namely in "love on the rocks") ...I can't say enough how reading the full archives have changed my view on EVERYTHING i ever contributed to.

Some of you might think it's crazy but I would love to eventually catch up on all of the old posts that I missed - or at least most of them.

You really get a WHOLE other perspective on stories when you understand the background.

Yeah, I guess I take for granted that I have been a member here for so long. I know everyone's backstories and whatnot.
