Default Primaries

I'm sorry, but I lived through this. When they started the tribute to Ted Kennedy with water views, all I could think of was Chappaquid****. I'm wondering what others, especially since most here are much younger than me, think of him....

LOL that the purity filter edited out the name of the town!

Ha Ha! Didn't watch it, but think he is a big, corrupt, blowhard who should have gone to jail! How the people of MA continue to elect him is beyond me.

to be honest... i don't know much about him but i know he's done a lot for the country (albiet, again, to be honest, i can't name one thing in particular).

Although he's gotten away with murder and all, being a Kennedy and having the $$ to get out of jail time, i think he's done a good job of being in the congress (probably the reason he's been elected so often).

I do have to admit that no matter how much i might like or dislike him, i think it was very courageous of him to speak at the DNC without wearing a hair piece to mask his lack of hair on one side of his head (where they operated). It takes balls to be so out in the open when you have cancer because so many people think of cancer as the beginning of death and i know for something as important as speaking in front of billions of unknown people, most other cancer patients would probably wear a wig or something to cover up the obvious. yet, he didn't didn't do that and i really do think he's helping to make cancer a more open topic for all of us. so i simply give him kudos for that alone.

Well, following in the recent path of Arlen Specter who went completely bald from chemo and didn't hide it...

I know that recently, he's behind a lot of misguided bills about which I disagree! Ugh, and I can't believe they are trotting out Lilly Ledbetter to speak!
