Missed it... but I saw the Greece national anthem being played and that "I call upon the youth of the world..." thing.

The next Olympics are in 2012... two thousand twelve!!! I can't believe we are so close to 2010..

Dang I meant to put closing Ceremonies for the subject.

Anyhoo, the closing ceremonies are loooong! I think I'm at hour 2 here. I DVR'd it for Nick so he can watch it tomorrow when he gets home.
I need to go to sleep early tonight so maybe I'll catch the rest tomorrow.

They have Jimmy Page on right now who is playing "Whole Lotta Love" (Led Zepplin).
... now here comes Beckham.

It's a feast for the eyes! It would have blown me away even more if I was in Bejing seeing it live!

I think the announcer said that China spent around 40 billion!!! I didn't get to see the opening ceremonies but the closing ceremonies were great!

I went back to it later and saw jimmy page with the leonna lewis (?). Me and the boyfriend were laughing our asses off. I'm a big Zeppelin fan and just wondered if the millions upon millions of people know what "way down deep inside I'm going to give you my love" is supposed to mean.

I saw it last night, I was in awe over the tower show. I cracked up watching the chinese rock group sing, I told DH that it looked like chinese backstreet boys singing
I just wondering where they are going to fit the ceremonies in London in 2010 !
