Yup, yup (Well, I don't even eat eggs, but I always buy the cage free ones for my Hubby)

Also, it's true that you're very unlikely these days to find an egg with a baby chick because the hens who lay eggs for production aren't in with the roosters, so there's almost no possibility of them getting fertilized, in general... Although, if you ever see a spot of blood in your egg, it was supposed to be a chick... But I was horrified to see Henry's selling fertilized eggs in cartons... Gross! Why would anyone eat those? Of course, un-hatched chicks are a delicacy in some countires, like Korea.

Geez... who knew I had so much to say about eggs!?

I love eggs, and agree 100% they are so much better...actually my sister had a chicken that laid green eggs, but we grew up mostly on brown eggs...and yes, chicks in eggs, would be terrifying!

As far as price goes, have you looked online for any organic farms in your area? We have a place that's price for organic, cage-free eggs are cheaper than the regular store eggs. They have brown eggs.

The same place also sells rabbit meat, which is suppose to be the most easily digested meats. It is suppose to be very good for you. I never tried it though; I just kept trying to get myself to forget about Thumper in Bambi, but I couldn't.

Hum....I should look for something like that around here (airbuswife, do you know of anything??). We get our milk delivered to our home and its pretty much orgainic (hormone free) and its cheaper than the stores from what I've seen. I love getting the milk delivered. Saves me from going to the store and buying a ton of other stuff I don't need. I'm good at doing that.
