True story--I was at Target the other day and the cashiers wait in the front of their lanes when they aren't checking anyone. So 2 cashiers are in their front lanes talking and I hear "he's a real pilot already? Isn't he only 22?" and the other says "Yeah! He just got his private pilot license so he doesn't have to take a teacher! He'll be at an airline real soon!" Other girl: "That is SO awesome, you totally have to stick to this guy!" Oh man I wanted to have a little sit down chat with that girl!! I minded my own business though.

Thats funny. I didnt expect that either. Lets hope the industry is a whole ton better by the time he gets into it.

Thats funny. When I have talked others about what my DH does, some girls reply "Oh, thats Sexy". I tell DH and he gets a real kick out if that.

That's cool of him, but I wonder if he REALLY has any idea what it's all about? I've only been exposed to the aviation world for a couple years and it's quite a "job".

As for the women who think it's sexy to be dating/married to a pilot, lol, you guys are definitely right, "if only they knew..."
