Default Frances

Hi from "sunny" NC! Geez-a-loo! Could Frances dump any MORE rain!!??? Had tornados this morning. 10 in NC and 34 in SC I believe. Ok, Frannie, hit the road!

Hope everyone is doing well. I missed the board this past weekend as my grandmother passed away. :-( She was 87...alot going on w/ her weakened body and it was time. The burial (graveside service then memorial) was beautiful. It was a celebration of her life. I saw so many friends and family that I hadnt seen in years, my face hurt from smiling so much! How often can you say that about a funeral?? Dont get me wrong, I still have my moments...but anyway.

Basically, I'm just checking in and seeing if I missed anything! Hope everyone is well! :-D

awwww.. i'm sorry bout your gma Stacy!!! but I'm with you in that it should be a "celebration" of their lives... and we should party for them cuz they'd want it that way!!!

it is weird to say that going to a funeral is like going to a family reunion, but it really is....no two ways about it!

your gma lived a nice long time! I'm sure she was proud that you were partying down for her and that you always had a smile on your face!! :-D :greeny:

sorry to hear about your grandma! but as my grandma always says, when it's her time to go, she doesn't want any crying, she wants us all to gather at someone's house, eat a lot of GOOD expensive chocolate and tell funny stories about her.
